Bezalip (generic name Bezafibrate) is a prescription drug taken orally for the treatment of hyperlipidemia (existence of excess cholesterol in the blood). Dosage & Administration
The most prescribed adult dosage of Bezafibrate is 200 mg taken 2 or 3 times everyday or one 400 mg sustained-release (SR) pill on a daily basis. The pills must be received with abundant fluid, with or following meals. Never chew up the sustained-release pill.
