Why is this drug prescribed?
Ditropan relaxes the bladder muscle and reduces spasms. It is used to treat
the urgency, frequency, leakage, incontinence, and painful or difficult urination
caused by a neurogenic bladder (altered bladder function due to a nervous system
abnormality).
